Kueh Pieti

For some reason I had this craving for Kueh Pieti when I went to Cold Storage.

Ingredients:
200g Minced Pork
Several Pieces of Chinese Cabbage
Some Kueh Pieti shells
A Turnip
Several Sting beans
Half a Taro Shoot (Bamboo Shoot
Some Pieces of Crabstick
1 Egg
Some Parsley
Four Prawns.
Red Onion
Garlic
Soy Sauce
Black pepper.
Soy Bean Sauce

Steps: Prepare Ingredients. Slice the string beans and carrot Diagonal wise. Make sure to soak the Taro Shoot in salt water before use, to get rid of the smell. Peel the prawns and cut each into three pieces. Julienne the turnip and cabbage. chop up the parsley and mix it into the minced pork. Cube the Taro Shoot and slice the crabstick into thin slices.

After that fry some oil and put garlic until it turns golden brown, add some chopped red onion and fry until it becomes fragrant. Put in the minced pork and shrimp and fry for about 5 minutes. Add some soy sauce and black pepper.

Add the Carrots and string beans to the minced pork and shrimp and continue to stir fry. Then add in the Taro shoot, turnip and cabbage and fry together until the cabbage is fully cooked. Plate the filling.

Crack the egg and mix in a frying pan to make an omelet like egg. plate that also. Cut up the egg into small slices. Put the filling into the Kueh Pieti cups and top it with the sliced egg and crabstick. add some soybean sauce into the cups for taste.

Then you have some Kueh Pieti. This is also a certified tasty food.
